Recruitment FAQS

A business fraternity is a student organization that focuses on the development of business skills and professional networking among its members. We aim to provide a supportive environment for students interested in pursuing careers in business, finance, marketing, and other related fields. We offer opportunities for members to develop their leadership skills, network with alumni and industry professionals, participate in case competitions and business-related events, and receive mentorship and guidance from experienced business leaders. We also provide access to resources and tools to help members achieve their career goals, such as resume workshops, interview preparation, and job search assistance.

Our chapter welcomes new members at the beginning of each semester. For more information about upcoming recruitment events, check out our Instagram.

All majors are welcomed and encouraged to join our chapter! We believe that all majors can benefit heavily from professional development.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be invited into the rush process:

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri

• Have attained at least 12 college credit hours

• Have a minimum 2.8 GPA (3.0 for first-year students)

• Fully completed all parts of the written application, including meeting specified word counts

Alpha Kappa Psi charges dues on a semester basis to support chapter and fraternity operations. In your first semester, there is a $75 Induction fee and a $90 Initiation fee, totaling $165. Dues are $80/semester for all following semesters. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
